Crossword #058 - The McCoy Years

The McCoy years hold a special place in my heart. He was my Doctor growing up, and it was his era that made me a fan. The high camp of Time and the Rani sucked me in, and the darkness of Season 26 made me stay. The re-evaluation of the McCoy years has gladdened my heart, and more than once, I have been known to say a big, fat, "I TOLD YOU SO!" Suddenly, the whole world seems to see how brilliant this era was to me as a child... and little Code Nine would never have believed that the Seventh Doctor and Ace would be back on primetime BBC One in 2023. The universe is very weird, and at times, blessed. To celebrate the forthcoming release of Season 25 on Blu-ray box set, this week, we delve headlong into the McCoy years. Somewhere there's injustice. Somewhere there's tyranny. And somewhere, a Doctor Who fan is doing a crossword as their tea gets cold. Come on, everybody! We've got work to do!
