Where would we be without UNIT to defend us? Over-run by successive alien invasions, that's where! Those brave souls give their all to defend our small blue planet from evil tentacles and sticky protuberances will intent in their hearts... if they have hearts! UNIT has been a mainstay of Doctor Who for decades, from the Troughton years right up to this year's barnstorming finale - and it is this contribution to the programme which we celebrate this week with a crossword containing both classic and modern UNIT operatives... and hidden somewhere in there is your erstwhile compiler too! It only took me 59 crosswords to achieve that...!
